Moving on to where it gets it name from , The Chromebook pixel packs a 12.8 inch capactive touchscreen display with a staggering resolution of 2560*1700 pixels. Do the math and you find it hs a ppi of 239 which is more that its contender Macbook Pro which now gets a second place for it’s display for a 227 ppi.

The Chromebook Pixel also has a 720p webcam, Backlit Chrome keyboard, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, mini Display port, SD/MMC card reader and Google also offers 1TB of Google Drive cloud storage for three years along with the Chromebook pixel.

For $1,499 Google throws in 64GB of SSD storage alongwith LTE connectivity. On an honest note, why would one spend $1,299 which runs a browser with bookmarks on the internet on a high-res display? We have a million options if you plan to spend that kind of money on a laptop, one’s that run much more than just web apps.
