The Huawei press conference just got over some time back and Ascend D quad was announced packed with a quad core, bot little did we know that this super phone was running on Huawei’s own manufactured quad core SoC.
nVIDIA, T.I, Qualcomm, Samsung and now Huawei? Wow interesting!! Not only did Huawei manufacture its own SoC but they are also saying that it is the fastest! Well it might be fast because all the 4 A9 cores are 64 bit compred to the 32 bit on other quadcores. Not only they have a really fast processor, but they also have a 16 cores in the GPU, now that’s something. They also showed the Nenamark 2 benchmark and compared it to the galaxy Nexus and the Transformer prime which has the latest Tegra 3 quadcore and both of these devices were way behind the K3V2. This is really interesting and amazing, but how long would this be the fastest processor? We have HTC press conference in a few hours now.
