Google on Wednesday sent out event invites which will be held on October 29 in New York City. Invite reads “The playground is open,”. It is expected Google might release an update for Jelly Bean 4.1 and a new Nexus. Event kicks off at 10 am Eastern time, background of the invite consists of the cartoon showing well-known New York landmarks and is very similar to the background of Google Now website, a feature in Jelly Bean. Google’s event will be held on the same day that Microsoft is set to launch its Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system in San Francisco. Apple of course has an event scheduled already on October 23rd where it might possibly release iPad mini. Let’s see how these tech giants amuse us.
