There may be good 3 months to go for the Olympics this year, but it’s fever has already started to catch-up. This can be seen in the fact that, Acer launched a new ICONIA A510 Olympic Games Edition Tab depicting the same spirit depicted by the Olympic participants.
This was done as a gesture celebrating Acer’s partnership with the Olympic Movement, with the design featuring both the Acer as well as the Olympic logo and available in 2 colors – Black and Silver. The spirit I mentioned is shown in the fact that the Tab features extra-ordinary features like:
- Android Ice Cream Sandwich
- 15 hours of battery life with all day usability featuring HD video playback due to the 9800mAh battery.
- nVidia Tegra3 Quad-Core processor.
- 10.1″ Display with 1280×800 resolution.
- 1 GB RAM along with 16GB of storage.
- Dolby Support with 5.1 Channel HD output.
The tablet is set to launch soon, probably this week in March and is expected to cost around $650 ( 32,000 INR ) and is sure set to give a tough competition to the other in the field.
