News: Samsung expects Galaxy S III sales to cross 10 million units in July Samsung sales July Galaxy S III Android 10 million sales

The Galaxy S III is surely a great smartphone with some beefy specs and some great software tricks up its sleeve and it is bound to cash in the success of the ‘Galaxy S’ branding. We had heard earlier reports of  9 million Galaxy S III pre-orders before the official launch of the smartphone and now as per the reports by Reuter, JK Shin, head of telecommunications at Samsung expects Samsung’s new flagship to cross 10 million sales in July.

He mentioned  “cumulative sales” which makes it unclear if he is talking about units sold or shipped worldwide but it is an impressive number nonetheless and we can sure expect the Galaxy S III to become the most popular Samsung smartphone ever beating the Galaxy S II

The target seems quite achievable considering how Samsung intends to expand the Galaxy S3′s availability in more than 147 countries by the time July rolls around. We’ll have to wait and watch if the device does live up to Samsung’s expectations.
