We have heard of reports suggesting that the next gen iPhone will be unveiled on September 12th and now we have reports from the folks at iMore suggesting the device will go on pre-order in the US the very same day.

This would be pretty unusual with regards to other iPhone launches since the previous iPhones went on sale several days after it was announced by Apple. Apple has releases its computers and iPods at the day they were unveiled but they haven’t done so in the case of its iPhones. The report also says that the next iPhone will reach international markets in the first week of October.
