Rumor: RIM to license Blackberry OS 10 to other HTC and Samung ? Samsung Rumor RIM HTC Blackberry OS 10 Blackberry BB OS 10

We have heard recent rumors of RIM possibly removing its two co-CEO’s and according to some reports Barbara Symiest will be the new chairman of the company. Well we have a new rumor for you, according to Jefferies and Co’s Peter Misek RIM will license its latest Blackberry OS 10 to other smartphone makers.

Misek even adds “some of this has already started with RIM likely agreeing to license its new OS to Samsung, HTC and other OEMs”. We all know RIM has never been known for its hardware in its phones and this could even kill their hardware division but this move will surely save the software division of the company. But these reports and rumors are pretty hard to believe because Samsung and HTC both use Google’s Android  as well as Microsoft’s Windows Phone and Samsung even has its own OS Bada so it seems pretty unlikely although we will keep you updated as we get more news on this. And as always, please take this rumor with a pinch of salt !
