Samsung is already in the hype regarding the Galaxy S III event launch on 3rd May in London and the leaks and rumors circulating it. Now we happen to stumble upon one more rumor, that the company is planning a Windows Phone 8 Apollo phone with specs almost similar to the phone which will be released on 3rd May, viz. Galaxy S III.

The phone will not exactly have the same specifications, but will be similar to most extent. The news was confirmed by WP-Life who claims this info from a source in South-Korea. The phone is planned to be named “Samsung Focus S II” and since a high-specs phone is a requirement to the Windows Phone 8, these are the specifications we can expect in the rumored device:

  • Faster dual/quad core processor (depending on region).
  • 4.7-inch HD display.
  • 12-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
  • NFC capabilities.
  • Dedicated camera button.
  • Samsung Cloud Support.
  • LTE support.
  • Improved Photo Studio.
Now Samsung has already took the position as the Number 1 Mobile Maker defeating Nokia, and with the sale records of Lumia 900, it is evident that the consumer is willing to try the new OS platform and Samsung’s decision to step in this sector is truly justified.
