Google begins rolling out redesigned Google Play.

Google has now officially announced a fresh re-design of its Google Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets. The design is now more Holo-ish and features a card like design for different elements – much like the card like design of Google Now.

The goal with the new look is to provide easy access to content through a clean and simple interface. You will notice bigger images, themed content, more recommendations, and a simplified checkout process.

The update has started rolling out and as Google says, shall reach all Android devices running Android 2.2 or higher in the upcoming weeks. The goal was to keep it simple and neat. Also app suggestions are said to be more prominent post the update
