5 best things about Vivo V5s Selfie Smartphone

Starting with the Vivo V5 which was launched last year in November, the Chinese brand has moved their focus to camera and music. In fact, it also changed its tagline to the same and we also did an in-depth story about the same. Since then, the brand has introduced a lot of selfie-centric phones in India, and the latest in that list is the Vivo V5s. We all know about the specifications about the Vivo V5s but why should you consider buying this handset over others? Well, we have noted down a few reasons as to why the handset shouldn’t be ignored.

20MP front-facing camera for Perfect Selfies

Well, this is not a surprise. Vivo has been boasting about the selfie camera on this handset in their adverts. But #PerfectSelfie hashtag do live up to its remark. Featuring a 20MP Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor which is paired with f/2.0 aperture, 5p lens and a moonlight LED flash along with a group selfie feature which has been recently added with this handset enables to capture good selfies in all lighting conditions. There is a 13MP rear camera sensor which can allow to take good captures as well.

Long lasting battery

I know you might disagree on this after glancing through the specification list but the 3000mAh battery do long last on the Vivo V5s. Pairing up with FunTouch OS the Vivo V5s can survive for a long screen-on time if you are a moderate user. We are pretty sure that you might not deplete its battery by the time you reach back home in the evening. The power efficient chipset also ensures it performs best and if that’s not enough there is a battery saver feature on the FunTouch OS which let’s you have your smartphone run a little more.

Performance

Packing up a MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core processor with 8 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz frequency along with 4GB RAM and 64GB on-board storage is a lot to offer to handle one’s smartphone usage. If you anyhow fill up the 64gigs storage, it can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Our best feature included with Vivo handsets is its powerful audio DAC. Called as the Hi-Fi feature, Vivo handsets have a pleasant audio output which can be best experienced through good quality headphones. The fingerprint sensor alike the last 5 five handsets have been quite fast and responsive. Overall the handset offers its best to serve a majority of its targeted audience.

Stellar Design

Inheriting the same design language from Vivo V5 Plus, the Vivo V5s sports an elegant look overall. It has those subtle U shaped antenna lines from the V5 Plus which keeps its back clean. The front comes with 2.5D curved glass display offers an experience that is quite different from a screen which has flat edges. The handset is available in Crowne Gold and Matte Black color options. There is a physical home button on the front which doubles as a fingerprint sensor. We found the smartphone to be ergonomic for its 5.5-inch display size with a good hold.

Offline Availability

This is an important factor which has been helping Vivo attain tremendous sales across the country. Availability of handsets offline helps potential consumers to experience the handset before buying and make a confident decision. This handset is available offline on stores and retailers to pickup country-wide for ₹18,990.
