How to Install Call of Duty Mobile on any Android device

If you can certainly remember, or if you do not know, Call of Duty Mobile was up for pre-registration on the App Store and the Google Play store a couple of months back. After that official announcement, Activision has announced that the Beta version of the same is being rolled out to users in select countries along with some of the key features that the users will be experiencing in this Beta test.

Activision has made the Beta test available only to limited users starting off with India for now. This will be followed by Australia very soon and later, other territories will also start getting access to the Beta test. Down to the modes that are available, we have the basic Call of Duty modes. Post all the features, there are five multiplayer modes available as following:

  • Free for All: The classic every-player-for-themselves deathmatch.
  • Frontline: After spawning at a team base, defeat players on the opposing team.
  • Team Deathmatch: The classic defeat-players-on-the-opposing-team mode.
  • Hardpoint: Capture and hold the hardpoint to earn points.
  • Domination: Capture and hold the designated positions to gain points.

So, here is how to install Call of Duty mobile if you still didn’t get the install button in the Play Store.

Install Call of Duty Mobile on any Android phone

  • First things first, download the Call of Duty Mobile APK from APK Mirror website.
  • Now, download the ZIP file from this link which is the OBB file for the game to run with all of its data.
  • Once you have both the files downloaded, head over to the file manager and unzip the OBB file.
  • Next, move the OBB file to the directory “Android/obb”.
  • Now, just install the downloaded APK file and you’re all good to go.

Now that you have installed the game, you can sign using your preference and start playing the game. But keep in mind that this is still in Beta and once the game officially launches, all of your data will be wiped down. Interesting things about the game are as following:

The maps that are available currently are Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, Crossfire, Sandoff, Killhouse, and Firing Range. Coming to the character playing, you get to choose a normal soldier or from a range of iconic characters from the Call of Duty universe. Some of the characters that are available are Alex Mason at launch (from Call of Duty: Black Ops), David “Section” Mason (from Call of Duty: Black Ops II), Thomas A. Merric (from Call of Duty: Ghosts), Simon “Ghost” Riley (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), John “Soap” MacTavish (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), and John Price (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare).

So for now, the available modes are limited and Activision promises that there is a lot more to come. One of which is the battle royale which everyone is so excited about. For now, you can enjoy the game until the official release and then you can have a fresh start with the stable version of the game.
