This is How We Do It: How to Reboot a Blackberry Smartphone Without Removing the Battery?

Whatever it may be, Blackberry OS needs a reboot after the installation and updating of many popular applications. This may seem to be annoying, but what makes it worse is that you have to pull out the battery just for an app to be installed.

Actually what we need to do, is just a soft reset, pulling out the battery of the device will be too much for the task.

Soft reset is nothing but reboot. This can be done by :

“by pressing the Alt, right Shift, and Delete buttons simultaneously”

What to keep in mind before performing the soft reset?
All you need to know is that your device shouldn’t be keypad locked, and rebooting your device will not be as much of a hassle as it would be by pulling out the battery.
