Amazefit Bip and Stratos smartwatches launched in India starting at INR 5499

As promised, Huami bought its multi-sport tracking smartwatches named Amazefit BIP and Stratos. Both the trackers offer a heart rate monitor, water-resistant body and built-in GPS. The Amazefit BIP comes in four attractive colors- Onyx Black, White Colour, Cinnabar Red and Kokoda Green at an attractive price tag of INR 5,499. The Amazefit Stratos comes in Black color only and is priced at INR 15,999

Amazefit BIP

It features a 1.28-inch ( 176 x 176 pixels) color Always-on reflective touch display. The display has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and AF coating provides which provide an at-a-glance view for time, date, steps, weather, sports stats etc. It receives notifications for calls, messages, emails, and other apps on the always-on color touch display.

As said, it’s a multisport tracking which keeps track of your runs, cycling and more with mapped routes, detailed stats and heart rate zones. It is equipped with 190mAh Li-Polymer Battery that offers up to 30 days fo battery life with regular use and up to 45 days with minimal notifications. It’s a lightweight device as it weighs 31 grams only.

Amazefit BIP also has an optical heart rate sensor for heart rate zones. This watch can be connected through Bluetooth 4.0 LE with Android and iOS devices. It features a 3-axis accelerometer, Air pressure sensor (barometer) for elevation, a Geomagnetic sensor (compass) and a GPS + GLONASS for route tracking. It is IP68 certified, resistant to dust, rain, and splashing.

Amazefit Stratos

This smartwatch features a 1.34-inch (320 X 300 pixels) color Always-on LCD touch screen with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 1.2GHz Dual-Core Processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It also displays notifications for calls, messages, emails, and other apps on the always-on color touch display.

Amazefit Stratos offers several modes to track your Run, Walk, Trail Run, Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Climb, Pool Swimming, Openwater Swimming, Triathlon, Skiing, Tennis and Soccer. It also offers detailed stats and heart rate zones. The smartwatch comes with Ceramic bezel, stainless steel buttons, glass fiber reinforced and polycarbonate casing.

The Amazefit Stratos has different sensors, Optical heart rate sensor (PPG), Tri-Axis Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic sensor, Air pressure sensor, Ambient light sensor. Apart from these, the Amazefit Stratos also has an optical heart rate sensor for heart rate zones and a VO2max fitness level analysis setting. It has connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0 LE for pairing with Android and iOS and a WiFi 802.11 b/g support too.

Amazefit Stratos has a 5 ATM water resistance rating (164 feet / 50 meters) and is backed by 290mAh Li-Polymer Battery which offers up to 5 days of battery life, 35 hours in GPS mode.
