CES News: BlueStacks App Player to Bring Android Apps to Windows 8

CES brought in big news for Windows 8 users. BlueStacks is getting their famous app player to the Windows 8 platform in a few months. BlueStacks released the Apps-on-PC program that made thousands of Android apps accessible on Windows-based PCs, and now the company is looking to bring the same program to mobile devices.

The Windows 8 user interface is beautiful indeed, but the only thing lacking in it is apps, as it is new as compared to others. This is supposed to be a game changer for the Windows platform. The software will be available in a beta form this February, with a full release coming sometime in the spring.
