BlackBerry announces BBM 2.0 for Android and iOS

BlackBerry on February 13, 2014 had announced the BBM 2.0 update which later arrived to Android and iOS app stores. The update news was announced via a blog post on the BlackBerry’s official blog. The new update brings lots of new features primarily being BBM Voice, BBM channels and 100 new emoticons.

What’s New in BBM 2.0:

BBM Voice – Free voice calls between BBM contacts
BBM Channels – join conversations happening now with BBM users, brands, businesses, communities and more
Faster, easier sharing – quickly add photos, voice notes, files and attachments to your BBM chats from your smartphone or Dropbox account
Location sharing – Share your location temporarily, powered by Glympse.
100 new emoticons
Larger BBM Groups – You can now chat and share with 50 people in your BBM Group

The update is now live on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store for users to upgrade or download to the new version.
