WhatsApp for Android finally allows to disable ‘last seen at’ feature

WhatsApp today rolled out an update for their Android client which hides the skeptical ‘last seen at’ feature along with the profile picture and status update. These privacy features were out there for the iOS client but have been officially released with the new update. The new version 2.11.169 includes all of these features which aren’t yet live on the Google Play Store.

The new update can be downloaded from WhatsApp website which will be rolled out sometime in near future. With the latest acquisition of WhatsApp by Facebook, we wonder if this has something to do with it. Anyways it’s obviously good for the masses and will be appreciated to keep the stalkers away.

Download the update now from http://whatsapp.com/android
