After the announcement of Chrome for iOS, Google came up with an app for its cloud sync service, Google drive on iOS and as well as Chrome OS.
The app alike its android variant provides the facility to upload download content from the cloud storage while adding features like Optical Character Recognition (OCR) where users can search for text inside images and PDF files. Adding more, users can also search for real world objects inside images and the app is able to detect the queries and index them in a search result.
Google also announced offline editing to Google Docs. As of now, only Document word processor will have the ability to work offline inside the browser but they will soon come up something similar with Presentations and Spreadsheets. When the docs will be edited offline, they will be stored locally and uploaded back when connected back to the internet. Something similar coming up with Chrome apps too.
