News: Google Renaming Android Market to Google Play

Yesterday we came across the news of Google rebranding its Android Market and Google Music to the Google Play moniker. Whether this change will help Google gain traction in content sales and Tablet sales is yet to be known. It’s nice to see Google not wasting any time in bringing this change, as reports suggest that users are already receiving an update which replaces the Android Market with Google Play.Bringing the version to 3.4.6, everything else remains the same so it is likely just an update to replace Android Market with Google Play. All you need to do is open Android Market on your Android smartphone or tablet get back to the homescreen and you’ll automatically see the update downloaded.
