News: LibreOffice 3.5 released!

The OpenOffice.org (OOo) came up with their third major release of their stable office suite recently. A variety of new features have been added to this major release including updates in Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base. An online update checker, which will inform users of the latest updates also mark its presence.

Some of the features have been illustrated in the following infographic released by LibreOffice:

LibreOffce 3.5 will ship by default in Ubuntu 12.04. Users of Ubuntu 11.10 or earlier can download the .deb packages available at libreoffice.org.

Although its very late to update this information but due to its significant importance in the FOSS community it had to be.
