Last month we came to know about this cool from RIM offering BlackBerry 7 users some free apps which otherwise have a premium price attached to it. This was certainly a nice gesture from RIM but unfortunately the offer was only valid for US customers and we hoped it would some day make it to the other regions as well and it seems RIM heard us as they have now brought this sweet offer for Canadian BlackBerry 7 users.
It is strange that Canada being the home of RIM is getting the offer only after US but better late then never. The limitations of the offer are same, you need to be the owner of a BlackBerry device running BlackBerry 7 OS. The apps can be found in the App World by the “Compliments of BlackBerry” category in the app’s name.
There are 17 premium apps which you can get for free and the offer ends on May 30th so better get downloading. The list of apps which you can get for free are:
