RIM has finally released BlackBerry Music out of its beta phase and onto BlackBerry App World for downloads. Sadly, it’s only available to people in Australia and Canada. The app will be powered by 7Digital and users will even be able to log in using their 7Digital details.
RIM seem to be trying to compete directly with Amazon who have had their Amazon MP3 application available on BlackBerry handsets for quite a while, being favored in the US, UK, France and Germany. No word on when it will launch to the rest of the world, but we’ll keep you updated as much as possible.
