Asus smartphones today announced the world’s first Tango-based + Daydream ready handset in India, called as the Asus Zenfone AR. The handset was first showcased at CES 2017 and was also mentioned in the product demo at Google I/O earlier this year. After the OnePlus 5, Asus Zenfone AR brings 8GB RAM to a smartphone but here, we believe it can max out when actually put to use for AR+VR applications.

Working with close cooperation with Google on Project Tango, this handset manufactured by the Taiwanese company is the second commercial handset to be rolled out. On the specification end, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM. The handset sports a 5.7-inch WQHD(2K) display built on Super AMOLED technology.
