Nikon launches 2 new COOLPIX models – the P7800 and S02

Nikon India announced the launch of its two new COOLPIX models which  will help enhance the photography experience and which will also be ideal for capturing high quality still images and also HD videos. The two new cameras to be launched by Nikon are COOLPIX P7800 and COOLPIX S02. Both these cameras are equipped with CMOS sensor and are capable for high-power zoom and provides advanced functions.

Features

COOLPIX P7800 offers high performance full-scale manual photography. It sports a 1/1.7-inch backside illumination CMOS sensor, a fast 7.1× optical zoom NIKKOR lens covering the wide-angle 28mm to telephoto 200mm (equivalent focal lengths in 35mm [135] format) range of focal lengths.Throughout the entire zoom range, it boasts a superior rendering performance. It offers full-scale manual functions which are available with digital SLR cameras.

COOLPIX S02, the new member of the Nikon S-series. Its among the smallest and the lightest digital camera in NIKON COOLPIX range. This stylish design camera is also equipped with a CMOS sensor with a count of 13.2-million pixels. It also sports a high-performance, efficient NIKKOR lens and a large 2.7-inch LCD screen. Capturing images and videos could be done very easily and efficiently.

Pricing and Availability

These stylish design NIKON COOLPIX cameras will be available from mid-september (COOLPIX S02) and October (COOLPIX P7800) respectively. Nikon COOLPIX P7800 is priced at INR 26,950/- and is available only in Black color. While Nikon COOLPIX S02 is priced at INR 8,450/- and is available in Silver, White, Pink and Blue colors.
