Sony Cyber-shot RX100 II launched in India for Rs. 42,900

 

 

One of the most recognized and reputed consumer electronic brand – Sony, launched the Cyber-Shot RX100 II the successor of RX100 which had created tremendous response. RX100 II is the first ever camera from Sony with support for Near Field Communication (NFC). For quality-conscious photographers who crave DSLR-style images from a pocket camera then RX100 II is the best travel partner for you. The efficiency comparing with the earlier models has surely increased with increase in shooting power and added features like NFC, Exmor R CMOS sensor and Multi Interface Shoe. It’s sleeky, strong, light aluminium design surely adds to the beauty of the camera.

Whether you’re shooting indoors or at dusk without a flash this new camera surely provides enhanced picture quality and better results. During capturing of low light scenes one can increase the sensitivity while reducing picture noise with the help of the newly developed back-illuminated Exmor R 1.0-type CMOS sensor. It is combined with 1.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens which will provide extremely crisp, natural and Full HD video shooting in any mode.

Equipped with NFC (near field communication) one can easily connect the camera with a Smartphone via Wi-Fi and transfer photos and videos smoothly. A simple touch with your mobile against the camera will create a wireless connection between them. There is absolutely no set up needed. It also provides one touch connection with Android smartphones and tablets. For group photos where one does not want to be left out, then One-touch Remote lets you trigger shutter release from your smartphone which makes it feasible.

The camera is further enhanced by new Multi Interface Shoe and Multi Terminal. The photo capability can be increased by attaching optional accessories like – electronic viewfinder, powerful external flash and stereo microphone. The multi terminal allows options like shutter-release remote control etc.

One can easily hold the camera high up to reach over the crowd or get down low with its bright, detail-packed 3.0-type White Magic LCD which can tilt up and down according to the convenience.
The TRILUMINOS Color technology used ensures richer and natural color reproduction. For smooth, cinematic movies HD video modes are expanded with the addition of 24p/25p shooting. A step up zoom function is also included which can be accessed via the camera’s custom menu. One can choose from five focal length – 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm or 100mm using the control ring.

The PlayMemories Mobile app which is available for free on the Google Play Store has been updated to enable one touch capabilities of the Cyber-Shot RX100 II.
This new and enhanced camera from Sony will be available in call major electronic stores across India from 8th August, 2013. This camera is available in Black color with an MRP of Rs 42,990/-.
