Dell has released a new monitor, which goes against the usual 16:9 TN panels released in the $300 price range. They have released a 16:10 1920*1200 6 bit S-IPS panel, which is indeed a rarity at this price. But have they sacrificed too much in cutting the costs?
Chris Heinonen at AnandTech has done an excellent and extensive review of the monitor, and it seems like Dell has a winner on their hands. He did not find any glaring faults, and he found it be an excellent overall monitor.
