Evie Launcher now offers new Gesture Control and News Feed

Evie launcher seems to get a big growth with the death of Google Now Launcher. Google Now Launcher was a perfect option for the minimal users but with its discontinuity, all the load jumps over Evie Launcher. With easy to use, well optimized and minimal effect, Evie launcher seems a good replacement for the Android Users.

Evie launcher didn’t get often updates over the past one year but this update gives it everything a user needs. And the best thing about Evie Launcher is that it’s totally free.

Major Updates of Evie Launcher

New Gestures

This launcher already has few gestures to help the users. However, some of them were useful and some of them were not. But the main problem here was the users can’t change them. This was the most requested feature which Evie launcher finally added to its new update. Now users can assign the shortcuts manually within the eight gestures given in the setting.

Evie Launcher Search and Search Bar

This Search and Search bar features were good but not very helpful. Whenever you swipe down for the Notifications, it opens the Search Bar. Evie Launcher finally offers the users to toggle it off. Now users can ditch this setting which was mandatory in the earlier version.

Google Assistant Integration

With the new update, Evie launcher integrated the Search bar with the Google Assistant over voice search. Users can search for anything with their voice only, a small Google Assistant pop-up will appear, listen and gives the result.

Evie News Feed

Now, this launcher offers a News Feed option which can show the relevant news in the feed just like the Google Launcher. This doesn’t require any non-play Store Plugin to work. The Feed offers relevant information and news post from different sections like Entertainment, Sport, technology etc. It also offers news from famous publications too.

These are the few updates of the Evie Launcher. It offers hassle free and minimal design UI with great optimizations. This can convert your Android device to the simplest so you can enjoy at zero cost. Google Play Store is rolling out the update for everyone, check it from the Play Store or you can download it from here.
