Galaxy Gear compatible with six Samsung Galaxy smartphones in India

Samsung electronics is on the verge of expanding its Galaxy Gear compatibility to six Samsung Galaxy smartphones in India. This will take place through a software update which will vary for devices. The Galaxy Gear compatibility is readily available for Galaxy S4 users. And for Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy S4 zoom users, the software update will be available in the month of November.

Galaxy Gear is a perfect companion which provides enhanced flexibility with new functions. One can easily make or answer calls. Incoming messages can also be seen without having to remove your smartphone. They have added  the “Smart Relay” feature which allows seamless connection between the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Smartphone. For instance if the user is reading an email on the Gear and wants to switch over to the phone, then with the help of this extraordinary feature the phone screen will switch to the exact location of the email where the user was reading on the Galaxy Gear.

It also sports a 1.9 MP camera. Users can capture shots and can also record a 10 second video. This will automatically get saved in the smartphone’s gallery. It also holds an in-built Pedometer that enables users to measure their step. And it goes without saying that it also functions like a full featured watch.

This marvelous Galaxy gear is available in the Indian market for Rs. 22,990/-
