Google is taking down Google Goggles app and suggesting to install Lens

Google is finally taking down the long-abandoned Google Goggles App. The Google Goggles was introduced back in 2014 and now it received a new update after a long time. The update replaced the all functions with a note stating that Google is taking down the Goggles app and users may install Lens.

We have this question back when Google Lens was introduced as both the app function was the same. Both were designed to identify objects in pictures, but Lens is far smarter thanks to advance machine learning.

The Google Lens may be advanced in every way than the Goggles but the drawback is the Lens app works only on the new and small group of smartphones. While the Goggles runs on all of the smartphones even from back in 2014.
