Google Pixel and Pixel XL with Snapdragon 821, 4GB RAM launched

In the past weeks we have seen notable cameos on international retailer and carrier pages of the much anticipated Google Nexus Pixel smartphone. The company took to the stage at today’s Pixel event to reveal the much awaited piece of hardware. As anticipated, the Pixel will come in two sizes, the standard 5-inch and the 5.5-inch XL.

  • 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor | Adreno 530 GPU
  • 4GB LPDDR RAM | 32GB / 128GB internal storage
  • Android 7.1 (Nougat)
  • 12.3MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, 1.55um pixel, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LDAF
  • 8MP front camera
  • 2,770mAh battery

The Google Pixel comes in Quite Black, Very Silver and limited edition U.S. only Really Blue colors and starts at $649 for 32GB and $749 for the 128GB version.

The Google Pixel XL will be available in Quite Black, Very Silver and limited edition Really Blue color variants and is priced at $769 for the 32GB version, while the 128GB version costs $869. Both the phones will be available for pre-order in the US, Australia, Canada and Germany starting today. It will be available for pre-order in India on Flipkart and retail stores from October 13th.
