After the announcement of the HONOR 20 Series in the global launch event last month, HONOR India has finally launched both the HONOR 20 and HONOR 20 Pro in India. The certain differences between both the phones can be found in the camera setup, the build quality, and the battery capacity. Both the devices have a 6.26-inch FHD+ All-View display with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7%. They are powered by their own home-brewed Kirin 980 chipset with Dual NPU and GPU Turbo 3.0. Both the devices have their fingerprint sensor mounted on the side panel and have a 32MP in-screen selfie camera. On the upper side, the HONOR 20 Pro has a Graphene Cooling Sheet technology which dissipates the heat better at 27%.
Coming to the camera, the HONOR 20 Pro has a 48MP primary rear camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor which also supports 4-in-1 Light Fusion (effective 1.6μm pixels). It has an f/1.4 aperture which takes up to 50% more light than compared to an f/1.8 aperture and can hike up the ISO up to 204800. This primary camera sensor also has 4-axis OIS, EIS, PDAF, and Laser auto focus. It has a 16MP 117-degree Ultra-Wide angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 4-axis OIS which offers 3X loss-less zoom and 5X hybrid zoom, and a 2MP sensor for 4cm macro shots. HONOR claims that the HONOR 20 Pro has scored 111 points on the DxOMark.
On the other hand, the HONOR 20 has the same 48MP sensor but with f/1.8 aperture with no OIS. It has the same 16MP 117-degree Ultra-Wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor replacing the telephoto lens, and the same 2MP sensor for 4cm macro shots.
Both the devices have a Dynamic Holographic Design that uses 3-layers to give a depth effect whenever light falls on the back with certain angles. The HONOR 20 Pro also sports a 3D curved glass back. The HONOR 20 packs a 3750 mAh battery whereas the HONOR 20 Pro has a 4000 mAh battery and both the devices support 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge fast charging technology which can charge the device up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Both the devices are available in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colors. The HONOR 20 is priced at Rs.32,999 whereas the HONOR 20 Pro is priced at Rs.39,999. The HONOR 20 will go on sale starting this June 25th and the 20 Pro will be available soon via Flipkart. Jio users will get vouchers worth up to 2.2TB data and Rs.2200 cashback.
