The Honor View 20 is Honor’s first smartphone to come with a punch-hole display to house a selfie camera. The punch-hole is 4.5mm in diameter and situated on the top left corner. The View 20 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2310 pixels) TFT LCD display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The Honor View 20 is powered by Huawei’s flagship octa-core Kirin 980 chipset, which is the same chipset that powers the Huawei Mate 20. Also, this is Huawei’s first 7nm chipset that promises to deliver better performance and power efficiency over its predecessor. The View 20 is also the world’s first smartphone to offer a 48MP Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor, while the sensor offers a small 0.8-micron pixel, Honor’s camera uses pixel binning to stitch four 0.8 micron pixels to offer a large 1.6 micron pixel when using the 12MP mode. And there’s also a 48MP AI Clarity mode to capture extremely detailed images in daylight conditions.
The HONOR View 20 comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color variants and the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is priced at INR 37,999 and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version in Phantom Blue color is priced at INR 45,999. The device will go on sale exclusively on Amazon.in and Honor India website starting today midnight.
