Hyve Mobility enters Indian market with a Buzz and a Storm

Hyve Mobility, a New Delhi-based mobility startup, on Wednesday launched its first smartphones in India – the Hyve Buzz and Hyve Storm. These two smartphones are aimed to extend delight, with its best-in-class hardware, pure Android and PAN India pick-up & drop support services, according the company. Hyve Buzz and Storm smartphones run stock Android 5.1 Lollipop, although an Android Marshmallow update is being promised soon.

Hyve Buzz

The Buzz comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Arc Glass and features MediaTek MiraVision technology. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6753 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Buzz is also IPX4 certified for water resistance, comes with a hexagonal LED notification light on the back and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back with patented Touch2Call technology that lets quickly access your frequently dialed numbers. Hyve Buzz comes in Twilight Black, Midnight Blue and Sunset Wine colors and is priced at INR 13,999.

Hyve Storm

This is a downgraded varient of Buzz in terms of specs and bears a 5-inch HD display, and is powered by a MediaTek 6735 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Hyve Storm comes in Snow White and Mystic Grey colors and is priced at INR 8,499
