Infinix Zero 5 to launch next week, featuring bezel-less display under ₹20,000

Infinix the recently launched online-only smartphone brand under Transsion Holdings will be announcing a new smartphone in India pretty soon. Well, since we have got an invite we are confident that the smartphone launch is bound to happen next week on 14 November 2017. We got some insights about the upcoming product and let’s have a look at it.

As per the sources, the upcoming smartphone will be called as the Infinix Zero 5. The smartphone following the trend of FullView display will feature a bezel-less display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. That’s what its name suggests, Zero bezels! We aren’t sure about the display size yet but our guess is it to be around 6-inches somewhat like we have seen on Vivo V7+, Oppo F5 and Honor 9i. Infinix Zero 5 is going to be available with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage with a possibility of an expandable storage option alongside.

The pre-launch picture of the smartphone which we have got has a glimpse of the upper half. It focuses more on the camera and that’s what may be the highlight of the product. Infinix Zero 5 will offer flagship camera features like a telephoto lens and a wide-angle as depicted from the product shot above which also makes it clear that it will be featuring dual-camera sensors. It might come in several color options but the ‘Envious Red’ sure looks good. And also, the fingerprint sensor is at the back.

This will the first time that Infinix will be launching a smartphone globally which shall enter India and all other key markets at the same time. The Infinix Zero 5 is expected to be priced under ₹20,000. Being an online-only brand this smartphone will be exclusively available in India on top two e-commerce players, probably Flipkart and Amazon.in by the end of this month.

We will be attending the launch event and share more details by next week.
