Now Itel mobile had announced that they had successfully sold more than one million handsets within India. The company achieved this milestone within couple of months of its operational launch. The 15 products launched so far include eight feature phone and seven smartphones. All these devices are aimed at empowering the aspiring consumer base with value-plus mobile-based connectivity solutions. The brand aims to open 1,000 service centres across the country by the end of 2016. The brand currently has tie-ups with 325 distributors in the country and the number of itel retailers stands at around 25000.
