At least one Korean company has to unveil interesting and powerful devices in events, at CES it was Samsung and this time at MWC it is going to be LG. LG has been announcing a great number of high end devices like the Optimus VU, Optimus L3, L5, L7 and now the successor LG Optimus 3D, the Optimus 3D Cube.
The Optimus 3D was not really a great device, but I am hoping that LG has done its homework and the 3D Cube is everything that the Optimus 3D wan’t. The specs are not that interesting or great, but it will all come down to performance. Well, the LG Optimus 3D comes with a 4.3″ autostereoscopic glasses-free 3D screen, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, dual 5Mp 3D rear camera, VGA front cam, NFC, 16GB internal storage, and a1520 mAh battery. The real bummer is that it will be coming with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and not Android 4.0. This is sad, even though it will be upgradable to 4.0 later. What’s interesting about this device is that it will be coming with a 3D video editing software, so that will be a great look. The LG 3D cube is exclusive to SK Telecom and will be launched globally under the name of Optimus 3D Max. We are oping to see this device and its video editing capabilities at MWC.
