We had seen the teasers of the Padfone in November and ASUS is really in front of all innovations happening around, they brought in the tablet to net book converter with the Transformer series and now the phone to tablet to laptop converter with the Padfone.
The Padfone comes with Android 4.0 outside the box, that’s a relief and has a 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD display with F2.2 , 5 elements camera and is again powered by the Snapdragon S4 SoC. The amazing thing about this device is that you can connect the phone to a tablet case which will then turn into a complete tablet which will give you 5X more battery and you can also pickup your calls form the tablet, and this tablet you can also place it on they Keyboard dock, which will give you 9X more battery life, this is really great! Now I don’t need to carry a separate tablet, phone and a laptop, I just need these 3 things and that’s everything I need. the tablet also comes with a capacitive stylus which also acts a bluetooth headset with which you can answer your calls and listen to music, wow, that was weird, ASUS has taken transformation to the next level even with a stylus, nice work! Anyways we are looking forward to this form factor and hope to test it out. Also the Padfone will be available in April globally and the LTE model will be available sometime in Q3.
