With the Consumer Preview Release of Windows 8, Microsoft also launched the Windows 8 Store hands-on and also announced that all the applications in the Store will be free till the consumer release is in motion. The store features the Metro Style and consists of apps and games not just only from Microsoft but also from third-party developers. The apps are available in both versions- ARM and x86 and the store automatically recognizes the app version to be downloaded for one’s system. Some of the apps featured in the Store consist of Evernote , Kindle , WordPress , Vimeo, etc.
The app section is in categorized format for providing ease to the user. Microsoft wants the user to enjoy a Home Experience wherever he goes because of which they included the Cloud element , so that a user can access all his apps and settings on any PC. With the Store now live , Microsoft added that it will be pushing more apps soon to the Store for the user to enjoy on the Consumer Release version and not to forget , for free.
