As these chips lack an integrated GPU, it is safe to consider them as low end SKUs in terms of price and performance. There is nothing extraordinary in the chips that would leave us dazzled.
It seems that AMD is following Intel’s footsteps. Just like Intel, AMD is saving the A4, A6, A8 and FX brands (synonymous to Intel’s core i3, i5 and i7) for medium and high end chips, while they use Sempron and Athlon brand names (Celeron and Pentium in Intel’s case) for low end SKUs .
