According to an internal document obtained by Mobile Syrup, RIM’s BlackBerry Bold 9900 is known to have keyboard issues.
The problem comes with holsters supplied with Bolds manufactured before November 3, 2011. It has a folded edge inside that, when the phone is entered with force, will knock out some of the keys. Bad news for some as the Bold is known for its good keyboard design.
Luckily RIM has extended the warranty for the devices in question to 18 months, so users may, if affected, receive a complete repair of all the keys affected.
