It seems that 7.1 will bring a new Battery Saving Mode, now although this isn’t a mind blowing feature, it is something pretty handy for BlackBerry users. What it’ll do is conserve as much power as possible when the battery hits a preset level, to keep it alive until you can charge it again.
According to the leaked presentation we covered a few weeks ago, the 7.1 update should roll out by as early this month or next, meaning that it’s likely to be showcased at MWC in three weeks time. We’ll continue to update as the situation unravels.
