After the long wait for OS 2, it’s finally available for download, bringing along many great features among many other things.
It can only be described as a major update. OS 2 brings a better homescreen, native email, calender and contacts applications, Android application support and significant speed improvements. Along with this, the BlackBerry Bridge application has also been updated to bring along some improvements; it’s already available in App World.
With the release of OS 2, one can only wonder what RIM will showcase at MWC next week, but our bets are on the new Curve 9220 & 9320 as well as the Playbook 3G, some new colours of existing devices are expected too with BB OS 7.1 onboard.
