News: Firefox OS shows up on an unknown device at CES.

Firefox showcased its latest smartphone OS on a mystery phone at CES 2013. We have all known firefox due to its browser products which are known for its reliability and customization’s. Having just these aspects wouldn’t be enough for its smartphone OS though. Firefox claims its much lighter and faster to run especially on low-end devices with a minimum ARMv6 CPU of 800 Mhz and 256MB of RAM . The entire OS runs on HTML5 apps which means porting to and forth would be significantly easy but that also means all developers need to chuck their present architecture and build an HTML5 specific app. Reminds us much of the Chrome OS from Google which was an entire HTML5 one and to be honest, not much of a scorer there.
