News: Fujitsu announces stylistic 7-inch M350/CA2 Tablet for Enterprise market

Fujitsu really surprised us at CES by showing off an prototype powered by the quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The company also made us believe that their devices were going to come in the West market by saying North America was one of their priority market and we hoped to see some interesting devices by the Japanese company. Fujitsu has just launched a new tablet by which they want to strike a chord with the “Enterprise” market which for us seems a pretty huge letdown

The tablet named M350/CA2 is a 7-inch stylistic tablet 1024 x 600 screen, a 1GHz Freescale i.Mx processor, 512MB of RAM, and we didn’t expect it to run Ice Cream Sandwich  but the fact that it’s running Gingerbread instead of Honeycomb makes it all the more disappointing. Other basic features include a mini HDMI port, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi b/g/n connectivity.

The device looks cool but needs a serious price cut if it wants to get successful. The Stylistic M350/CA2 is set to hit Japan later this month for around ¥34,800(455 US dollars) and might come to International markets, including the United States if it proves successful.
