After NVIDIA, it was Gigabyte who walks into CES to become a new entry for an entirely new segment. The company has bought two new Windows 8 tablets – the S1185 for regular customers and the businessy S1082 — in the expectation that they’ll make a dent despite of the hot competition. The S1185 has an interesting 11.6 inch 1080p display and a powerful Ivy Bridge processor and a new magnetic-optical finger navigation which seems fresh. Whats more is that the S1185 adds cellular connectivity and 500 GB HDD instead of an expected SSD. Unfortunately Gigabyte wasn’t available to disclose more details so this is all we have for now.
