Google has announced Google is replacing over 60 privacy policies for its various services with a single document, effective March 1st. Google said that it currently has more than 70 privacy documents referring to different products and that there will be a single privacy policy unifying all its products and the new privacy policy will be effective 1st March.
The main advantage that the new, single unified policy brings is if you have several accounts for different services by Google, Google will consider you as one user across all Google products and accepting the privacy policy will do it for all services and as Google puts it, “combine information you’ve provided from one service with information from other services”. The Terms of Service have also been unified and simplified, now contained in the new, main Google Terms of Service. Google have also put a explanatory video which you can find below and if you want all the details, you can hit our source link.
