This week the HP Pre 3 will be receiving a minor update. The update has already been rolled out to the Pre 2 a few weeks ago. This updates comes after HP decided to make WebOS open.
This update (2.2.4) brings “a variety of software enhancements”. Some new features which will come with this update include Skype calling and messaging across carriers as well as Bluetooth MAP support. The update also has some minor tweaking and fixs for syncing calendars and contacts, which reportedly had issues. It may not be anything significant but surely the WebOS community and Pre 3 users shall be happy that HP still cares for them.
