News: Kingston announces world’s largest capacity USB 3.0 flash drives

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show, held annually in Las Vegas, has yielded some big surprises, one of them; the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0.

What makes the HyperX Predator 3.0 so unique is the fact that both models are the world’s largest capacity USB 3.0 flash drives, available in both 512GB and 1TB flavours, yes, you read right. Both models offer a 240MB/s reading speed and 160MB/s writing speed, provided that they are used with a USB 3.0 port.

The HyperX Predator 3.0 comes with a five year warranty and boasts a rugged, shock resistant zync alloy casing. The 512GB variant has already started shipping, with the 1TB model expected to become available during March 2013. No definitive pricing has been made available yet.
