We came across the new Full-Frame DSLRs from Nikon, the D4 and D800 recently and we heard the D4 was coming “mid-March” and D800 following it by a week or two and now both the cameras are listed at Amazon for pre-order and are expected to be available by March 20th.
Both the full-frame shooters are up for pre-order at the retailer. The 16-megapixel D4 going for $5999.00 and the 36-megapixel monster D800 at $2999.00 only in bodies. The D800E is also available to preorder for anyone interested in paying a $300 premium to remove the anti-aliasing filter although its release date is not yet fixed.
