After the launch of the two new most exciting Mario titles launched for the 3DS platform, the sale of the console itself went up to four million in the United States a feat Nintendo reached in Japan recently. The Kyoto based company have always had a boost up by the Italian plumber Mario liked by almost everyone. Mario kart 7 and super mario 3D land are the fastest selling games of the Mario franchise. Both of them have already sold a million copies each which is quite fascinating. The legend of Zelda: skyward sword has also reached the 1 million mark being the 45th title on the Wii to do so. After a year which hasn’t been excellent with may price drops for them Nintendo may have momentum going for the year 2010. Let’s wait and watch, certainly exciting times ahead !
