News: Nintendo sells over four million 3DS units in Japan

Nintendo has not had the best year when it comes to profits however its recent 3DS games and console sales figures tell a different story. A month ago, Nintendo tripled its console sales in America, and now reports suggest that Nintendo has sold over four million 3DS units in Japan since its launch 10 months ago.

Also, Nintendo’s newest Mario titles have reached new milestones. Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 have each sold over one million copies in Japan, making them the first 3DS games to reach the million figure. This certainly makes me as a old time Mario fan, and I’m sure Nintendo is also relieved to see some positivity.
